Low Blue Light Bulbs Can Improve Sleep

Never ever underestimate the importance of a good night’s sleep. As far as your health is concerned sleep is right up there with clean water and healthy organic food. There are many things that can affect a proper sleep cycle. One of the major players is your body’s inability to properly secrete melatonin. Melatonin is produced by your pineal gland and is intimately involved in regulating the sleeping and waking cycles. Melatonin is produced normally only when you are in darkness. That is why if you expose yourself to things that produce intense amounts of light (think TVs, Computer Screens, Florescent lighting) near bedtime chances are very good that you are either going to have trouble falling asleep or the quality of your sleep will be poor. For years I used to watch TV right before going to sleep and always woke up the next morning feeling tired. In 2008 my girlfriend introduced be to a wonderful product that allows me to read before bed time (trust me don’t watch TV it is horrible for sleep) without the secretion of melatonin being affected. This product is called a low blue light bulb. It seems that it’s the blue rays in light that affect the body’s ability to secrete melatonin. What makes this low blue light bulb so unique is that creates a nice soft glow in the room that allows you to read or unwind without producing any of the melatonin effecting blue rays. I can say without a doubt this product has dramatically improved my sleep for the better. For more information or to purchase this product visit www.lowbluelights.com
